How it works
Create an employer account
In the iPhone or Android app, or in the browser. Confirm your email address and add your company details.
Write the listing
Section by section — the role, the pay, the visa position, the hours. The app shows what is still missing before you publish.
Publish
The listing is live in the app and on silkexpats.com within about a minute, and search engines are told. It runs for up to 60 days; renew it with one tap, or set an earlier closing date.
Invite and chat
Candidates apply with their SilkExpats profile. Invite the ones you want to talk to and continue in the chat.
You decide what the public sees
Confidential listings
Hide your company name: the listing shows “Confidential employer” until you invite someone, and it does not appear on your company page.
Private pay
Hide the salary and only applicants you invite will see it. It is also left out of salary searches and statistics.
Contact details on request
Your phone number, email and messenger IDs are never printed on the website or shown to anyone signed out. If you switch sharing on, signed-in job seekers can ask to see them — a limited number each day, and every request is recorded.
Link-only listings
Keep a listing out of search and the job lists entirely, and share its link with the people you choose.
To keep those promises, listing text and company descriptions cannot carry phone numbers, email addresses or messenger IDs, and photos with QR codes are not accepted. Put contact details on the listing’s Contact screen instead.
Plans
The same plans on every device, because your account decides what you can do — not the app you use. Upgrades are bought in the SilkExpats iPhone app; the App Store shows the price in your currency.
